Lipstick lovers, I’m elated to share My Top 5 Everyday Lip Colours with you today to kick off the return of beauty content here at JustineCelina — my first dedicated BEAUTY post in nearly 2 years! I’m thrilled to introduce a brand new series called MY TOP 5, where I shared tried and true beauty staples across categories. If you follow along with my FASHION content, you’ll likely be familiar with my philosophy of investing in wardrobe staples — and that mindset also trickles into my ‘beauty wardrobe’! While I absolutely love to experiment with beauty trends and keep up-to-date on the latest colours, textures and methods, I also have a core collection of well formulated beauty staples that I find myself wearing most often.

Today I’m kicking things off my sharing My Top 5 Everyday Lip Colours — the ones that live in the bottoms of bags, that I’ve gone through multiple tubes of and that you’ll find me in whenever I’m in mood for a flattering my lips but better shade! These are my most worn, most loved lip colours — the ones I most often recommend to friends and family. PANTONE 2019 COLOUR OF THE YEAR INSPIRATION | LIVING CORAL

Happy love day, friends! This year, I’m putting a PANTONE 2019 Colour of the Year spin on Valentine’s celebrations with a warm, pink-hued introduction to all things Living Coral! By now, you’ve likely heard about 2019’s hottest hue — either here at JustineCelina, or elsewhere online. As a creative professional, I’ve followed PANTONE (the global colour authority for creative industries) for inspiration my entire career. In fact, I even have a section dedicated to them here on the blog to categorize all my PANTONE inspired work throughout the years! As someone who’s very inspired by colour, I love to stay informed about the latest colour trends and allow them to inspire, challenge and push my creative work.

As you can probably imagine, I’m particularly passionate about PANTONE’s selection for 2019! RASPBERRY BERET

Whether you’re new to JustineCelina or have been with me for years, my love of colour is evident. In fact, it’s probably my biggest source of inspiration across content categories, in my work and in pretty much every aspect of my life! Year after year as we transition into an extremely colourless late winter, I find myself seeing through proverbial rose-coloured glasses and craving all things pink — in my wardrobe (in fact, I published a look wearing this coat exactly 1 year ago!), beauty routine and even my cocktails! This cozy, feminine, monochromatic look is an ode to my current obsession with all things burgundy and blush — capped off with a quintessential Raspberry Beret!

I’ve had this ‘outfit formula’ on repeat since the holidays and it features a handful of my winter style staples. In fact, you can also see iterations of it here at JustineCelina over the years and throughout the seasons (here, here and here). I’m all about sharing looks I wear in my day-to-day life and this outfit formula is my first choice on cold, casual winter days when I want to be warm and comfortable while still feeling polished! As FASHION and my personal style evolves, I relish in the process of updating my go-to seasonal outfit formulas to keep them fresh, which is exactly what I’ve done for this look. WINTER 2019 LOOKBOOK

Beautiful people, I’m elated to share the first seasonal LOOKBOOK of 2019 here at JustineCelina! If you’re just tuning in and you didn’t catch my 2018 Review + 2019 Goals post last week, you may have missed the announcement that I’ll be producing one, 12 outfit LOOKBOOK seasonally this year to help inspire your sartorial choices — and I couldn’t be more excited about it! Although winter officially arrived about a month ago, we’re now in the heart of the season. Surprisingly, the weather here in Calgary has been very mild and relatively snow-free (most days have been above freezing!) — presenting some unique style options to a girl who’s used to making the most of our long, harsh Canadian winters!

With January sales in full effect and the onset of a new year, now is the perfect time to clean out your closet, identify holes in your wardrobe, get inspired and refine your personal style! As always, this LOOKBOOK features everything I’ve been wearing and loving in both personal and professional settings this season — a melange of high, low, old, new and vintage, along with tons of shoppable links at every price point! Although winter can be an uninspiring time for many in the FASHION department, I use cooler weather as an opportunity to experiment with cozy layers, sumptuous fabrics, unique textures, daring prints and a rich colour palette to create polished looks to take me from day to night. You’ll find cold weather classics intermixed with a sprinkling of this season’s hottest trends, colours and a hopeful nod to spring’s blooming arrival — there’s truly something for everyone. 2018 REVIEW + 2019 GOALS

Well hello, friends! It’s been a little while since I’ve posted — I took some time during the first half of this dry January (it’s actually been great!) to reflect on the past year, get re-inspired and really put some thought into what I’d like to achieve in 2019. It’s been a very valuable exercise, so thank you for your patience! Today I’m dishing on everything I’ve discovered in this real, raw, lengthy (we’re talking the longest post I’ve ever written!) read recapping 2018 and sharing my intentions, aspirations and goals for the new year — plus exactly how I plan to achieve them!

When I look back on my goals post from last year, I feel grateful to be in a much better head space and place in my life — although it was a long road to get here. Longtime readers will know I’m always very transparent about the staggering amount of work that goes into blogging, content creation and creative entrepreneurship — and from the day I stared this blog in March of 2015 through to the end of 2017, I hustled hard. As a result, I entered 2018 feeling completely burnout, uninspired and unsure of how to proceed. I knew a change was necessary for me to move forward and progress in a way that would allow for more balance and well being in my life (and therefore more inspired work), but I wasn’t exactly sure how to get there. I felt like I needed to slow down and take life as it came, rather than creating an exhaustive list of all the things I felt I needed to accomplish — and I spent 2018 doing just that. I changed course and made chasing my passions for HOME and FASHION based content my first priority, which resulted in a pretty monumental year here at JustineCelina. That said, the largest shifts I made were off of these pages, in my mental and physical health, relationships and life in general. Fast forward to January of 2019 and I’m feeling energized, more inspired and productive than ever — and ready to make 2019 my best year yet! OCTOBER 2017 BEAUTY FAVOURITES

Happy snowy Sunday, beautiful people! I’m elated to be curled up in a cozy sweater and fuzzy slippers with a big mug of chamomile tea this weekend working away on my October 2017 Beauty Favourites post — it’s a cold one in Calgary! If you’re looking for an excuse to hole up inside and avoid stepping foot into the frigid outdoors this weekend (and getting out of your sweatpants!), you’re in luck. Pour yourself a warm cup of whatever your little heart desires (mulled wine, perhaps?!), grab your iPad, phone or snuggle up in front of your laptop with your softest throw and let’s chat autumn beauty!

October was a bit of a whirlwind — it included a lot of travel, a new haircut and desire to refresh my look, shake things up and discover new products! I had a love affair with red lips and liquid lips — and wore one red in particular most of the month whenever I felt like something bold. I also became totally smitten with a pretty autumnal shade from the Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipstick range, continued to practically bathe in Colourpop Super Shock Highlighters, rediscovered my love for an innovative mattifying product and found an incredible, inexpensive nude eyeliner that makes my eyes look bright and awake (trust me, last month I needed all the help I could get!). In the FRAGRANCE and SKINCARE categories, I got acquainted with an ultra pampering, uplifting body soufflé from Crabtree & Eveyln and reacquainted with one of my favourite autumn scents. It was somewhat of a minimalistic month for me beauty wise, as it took me awhile to figure out what worked best with my new fringe (which I’m still loving, by the way!), my eyebrows and eye makeup have definitely taken a back seat (no one can really tell I haven’t plucked or filled in my brows or spent those extra few minutes blending my eyeshadow — and it’s kind of amazing!).
