JULY 2017 BEAUTY FAVOURITES

How was your August long weekend, beautiful people? If you follow along with my Insta Stories, you’ll know we painted our living room, dining room and kitchen (about 700 square feet!) this weekend to kick off our Space Refresh (read more our plans here until it rolls out on the blog later this year) and I spent the entire weekend (including my birthday!) makeup free and covered in paint. So as you can imagine, it feels fantastic to wash the paint out of my hair and publish my July 2017 Beauty Favourites today!

July actually turned out to be relatively low key beauty wise, but still full of some great products I can’t wait to share with you. This past month, I finally finished my testing and am ready to recommend skincare that isn’t Paula’s Choice (I know — shocker right? I’ve been testing it since February and it’s fantastic!), an invigorating, sugar based body scrub (perfect for polishing away those last bits of fake tan!), a beautifully clean summer scent, the perfect contour powder to compliment a summer glow, another fantastic drugstore mascara, completely fell for Urban Decay’s Naked Heat Palette (it’s a must for us green eyed gals!) and rediscovered a highlighter from Colourpop (why did it take me so long to appreciate this unique, glossy formula?!). Ladies and gents, pour yourself a chilled glass of vino and pull up a seat at my vanity tonight for another Monthly Beauty Favourites post!

SUMMER 2017 MEGA SHOE GUIDE | 30 PAIRS!

Shoe lovers, you’re in for a treat today! I’m thrilled to bring you my SUMMER 2017 MEGA SHOE GUIDE — the largest SHOE GUIDE yet here at JustineCelina including 30 pairs (yes, really!) of on trend shoe options for Summer 2017. I think it’s fair to say I’m a shoe girl! I love publishing shoe related content because it’s so inclusive — everyone looks and feels great in a fantastic pair of shoes. JUNE 2017 BEAUTY FAVOURITES

Hey beautiful people — welcome back for another Monthly Beauty Favourites! June was a fun month here at JustineCelina, packed with events, roadtrips, and absolutely gorgeous weather. Summer has definitely arrived in Calgary and I’ve been taking every opportunity I can to get outside and enjoy it! In June I experimented with a lot of seasonal trends in the beauty department and really pushed the boundaries of what type of what type of products I incorporated into my routine. It creative month for me beauty wise — and it was a blast!

If you’re so over spring pastels and nudes, this post is for you! My June 2017 Beauty Favourites are bursting with vibrant hues and unconventional finishes and formulas. SUMMER 2017 TREND GUIDE | KIMONO LOVE

Things I’m happy about today: it’s almost the long weekend, the weather is gorgeous, and I’m wearing a kimono! I’m not ashamed to admit I have 13 kimonos currently hanging in my closet — they’ve been my most worn summer item for as long as I can remember and I love to collect them (I even have a few vintage kimonos!). Naturally, I’m elated to bring you my first SUMMER 2017 TREND GUIDE today highlighting one of my favourite seasonal trends — luxe, loungewear inspired kimonos! Like ponchos, kimonos have always been a staple in my wardrobe, regardless of whether or not they’re particularly on trend that season.

Those of you who know me personally are probably used to seeing me in kimonos, especially during the warmer months. So, I used one of my favourite kimonos as a statement piece in today’s post and paired it up with a handful of summer trends — including bold botanical prints, fringe hem denim, mules, millennial pink, eyelet, tassels, circular cross body bags, hexagon sunglasses and sunset inspired makeup. SPRING 2017 TREND GUIDE | CASUAL CHIC

I’m back today with another SPRING 2017 TREND GUIDE for you — and this time, I’m styling 1 outfit 2 ways! If we’ve visited IRL lately, there’s a good chance I may have been wearing some iteration of this outfit (don’t think fashion bloggers don’t rewear their favourite outfits around different groups of people!). I’ve worn this Casual Chic look to meetings, to daytime events and also out to enjoy a glass of rosé on a sunny patio with friends in the evening — transitioning my outfit simply by changing up a few accessories and losing a layer! While I’d love to be frolicking in a field or on a mountaintop everyday of my life (I mean… who wouldn’t?!), I realize that’s just not realistic for the average woman and moving forward I’ll be showcasing the more professional side of my wardrobe here at JustineCelina as well.

While this outfit incorporates a handful of seasonal trends, it’s also such an easy one to wear — and one I think would suit almost every body shape. So beautiful people, kick back with me this weekend and let’s chat palazzo pants and 70’s inspired silhouettes, stripes, the new white shirt, cold shoulders, straw bags, wedges, vibrant lips, metallics and the difference between inexpensive and designer shades (I’m wearing my very first pair of designer sunglasses in this post and sharing my thoughts on whether or not they’re worth the splurge)!

MAY 2017 BEAUTY FAVOURITES

Man it feels good to publish this May 2017 Beauty Favourites post! Since I spent a large part of March barefaced due to my finger injury and published my first ever completely makeup free Monthly Beauty Favourites post, this past month I really enjoyed experimenting with makeup again and discovered so many incredible new products. May was packed full of events (both blog related and personal) and I took every available opportunity to get my glam on — so you’ll find a healthy dose of glow and sparkle in my May beauty favourites! There’s range of products at affordable and luxury price points in today’s post — including a stunning rose gold highlighter (for less than $5!), my favourite lipsticks of the entire year, a bargain, go-with-anything nude lipliner, the perfect blush palette for a youthful spring flush, some extremely luxurious eyeshadows, a pastel lilac nail polish with nourishing ingredients and a metallic, glittery liquid eyeshadow!

There’s a strong peach, pink and rose gold theme in my favourites today — what can I say, I’ve been immersing myself in seasonal colour trends in full force! It’s been awhile since we chatted all things beauty, but you remember the drill, right?
