WHAT TO WEAR TO | HOLIDAY PARTIES

‘Tis the season! Tonight’s post is another installment in my WHAT TO WEAR series (thanks, Michelle for the request) — I’ve compiled a very comprehensive guide on what to wear to various holiday parties. I’ve included outfit options for every type of party you may be attending — whether it be a corporate gala or black tie event, cocktail party, or a New Years Eve celebration! And now is a great time to shop (it’s when I personally do my holiday shopping), since a lot of retailers are offering Cyber Week and Black Friday promotions. I’ll have more details on that in this post!

Let’s face it — holiday parties are not what they used to be, at least not in Calgary. Five years ago I was dressed to the nines at multiple, extravagant celebrations, while this year neither my boyfriend or I are attending corporate holiday parties. Companies just don’t have the extra cash right now to shell out on these types of events. But rather than focusing on the negative, I put a budget friendly spin on my picks — each piece of clothing is under $200, and most accessories under $100 (with a lot of jewellery $20 or less)!

WORK WEAR | SPRING 2019 TRENDS AT THE OFFICE

Fellow boss babes, this one’s for you! Over the years, more office-appropriate FASHION content has been highly requested here at JustineCelina — but since I don’t have a photographer on hand to follow me around to meetings, presentations and the like (#bloggerproblems!), the more professional side of my wardrobe isn’t something I’ve been able to bring to these pages in a meaningful way — that is, until now. Since beginning my entrepreneurial journey nearly 12 years ago (gulp!), I’ve built a wardrobe of garments that I can wear for both work and play — and resolved to never allow corporate environments put a damper on my personal style! SUMMER 2017 TREND GUIDE | WEEKEND WEAR

Welcome back for another SUMMER 2017 TREND GUIDE, everyone! It’s been a beautiful summer here in Calgary and personally, I’m not even close to being ready for fall. I said the same thing last summer, but fall doesn’t officially arrive for over a month and I’m in absolutely no rush to get there. So while the fashion industry (and many fellow bloggers ) are gearing up for autumn, here at JustineCelina I’m planning to enjoy summer for as long as possible! You can expect one more SUMMER 2017 TREND GUIDE later this month, along with a new post in my WHAT TO WEAR TO series — this time, I’m styling a look for late summer weddings.

But let’s not get ahead of ourselves! My goal through publishing these TREND GUIDES is to keep you (and myself!) up to speed on the latest trends while also staying true to my personal style. And I’m sure by now, you must understand my love of white, stripes and oversized straw bags! Although this look features a lot of the same trends as my Spring 2017 Trend Guide | Casual Chic (which I styled for more professional settings), this is a look I’d typically reserve for weekends. And if I’m honest, I’ve repeated this exact outfit several times already this summer! Hang onto summer a little longer today as I chat about how to style breezy stripes, summer whites, embellished straw bags (I actually DIYed this one!), straw, rattan and jute accessories, espadrilles and boho braids in this relaxed weekend look!

WINTER ACTIVEWEAR ESSENTIALS

It’s been awhile since my last fitness post, so I thought it was the perfect time to chat about staying active (and warm) this winter!
