WATERMELON FROSÉ MARGARITAS

You guys, this week has been such a whirlwind! Between spending time in the prairies working ahead on some exciting new projects, capturing tons of content for JustineCelina, publishing 3 blog posts, speaking at a YYC Blogger Babes event last night about The Business of Blogging and attending another event earlier today for a new partnership — I’m totally having a cocktail (or two) tonight as I finish up this post!

If you’ve been following along with my Insta Stories this summer, you’ve undoubtedly seen me whip up a Watermelon Frosé Margarita. She was a fun recipe to test and a fast favourite among friends and family — a pretty, pink cocktail gone rogue! This time, my Connecting Over Cocktails crew and I are serving up an array of seasonal, fruity cocktails for our Summer Edition and I knew I wanted to do something a bit different. Today I’m shaking things up with my Watermelon Frosé Margaritas — an icy sangria 2.0 with an attitude, and tequila on her breath! In true JustineCelina style, she’s made with just 5 ingredients blended over frozen watermelon creating a naturally sweet, feisty summer cocktail that embraces fruity flavours with a margarita essence and a Himalayan pink salted rim! JUNE 2017 BEAUTY FAVOURITES

Hey beautiful people — welcome back for another Monthly Beauty Favourites! June was a fun month here at JustineCelina, packed with events, roadtrips, and absolutely gorgeous weather. Summer has definitely arrived in Calgary and I’ve been taking every opportunity I can to get outside and enjoy it! In June I experimented with a lot of seasonal trends in the beauty department and really pushed the boundaries of what type of what type of products I incorporated into my routine. It creative month for me beauty wise — and it was a blast!

OCTOBER BEAUTY FAVOURITES

It was beauty overload here at JustineCelina headquarters last month — in the best way possible! October marked the beginning of my partnership with Sephora Canada and I published my first two posts in a series of six that we’ll be working on together this year. As you can imagine, there was a whole lot of liquid lipstick and fragrance testing going down last month as part of my research for my 5 Liquid Lipsticks to Try This Fall and Autumn / Winter 2016 Fragrance Edit posts (have you read them yet?!). So naturally, most of my October Beauty Favourites are liquid lipsticks and fragrances!

In October I fell in love with three gorgeous liquid lipsticks in fall’s hottest shades — as well as a vampy, demi-matte traditional lipstick. I also gravitated towards two beautiful fragrances and discovered the best liquid black eyeliner I’ve ever tried! JULY BEAUTY FAVOURITES

Welcome back for another Monthly Beauty Favourites post! This July I fell in love with a gorgeous new summer fragrance from Givenchy, discovered a budget friendly liquid eyeliner that rivals my high end favourite, wore my new Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche lipsticks to death and found the perfect coral lip liner to go with them!

It was a pretty low-key month for be beauty wise and I tended towards pairing bolder lip colors with a simple winged eye — which is one of my favourite summer looks. I also used my favourite eyeshadows from Makeup Geek almost everyday! MAY BEAUTY FAVOURITES

Welcome back for another installment of my Monthly Beauty Favourites posts! Today I’m chatting summer beauty and sharing some of my favourite liquid lipsticks, lip liners, a new brow pencil, a gorgeous baked bronzer, a stunning ombre blush, and my all-time favourite eyeshadow to complete bronze and gold looks.

I placed a Colourpop order in May to test out some of their newer launches, so most of my favourites today are from Colourpop — one of my favourite affordable makeup brands. I also tried some products from the Lise Watier limited edition Summer 2016 Escale Collection and found a great bronzer for the summer!
