PANTONE 2019 COLOUR OF THE YEAR INSPIRATION | LIVING CORAL

Happy love day, friends! This year, I’m putting a PANTONE 2019 Colour of the Year spin on Valentine’s celebrations with a warm, pink-hued introduction to all things Living Coral! By now, you’ve likely heard about 2019’s hottest hue — either here at JustineCelina, or elsewhere online. As a creative professional, I’ve followed PANTONE (the global colour authority for creative industries) for inspiration my entire career. In fact, I even have a section dedicated to them here on the blog to categorize all my PANTONE inspired work throughout the years! As someone who’s very inspired by colour, I love to stay informed about the latest colour trends and allow them to inspire, challenge and push my creative work.

As you can probably imagine, I’m particularly passionate about PANTONE’s selection for 2019! If you’re craving a serious dose of colour to help see you through these final wintery months as we (slowly but surely!) transition into spring, today’s post is an ode to Pantone’s 2019 Colour of the Year. 2018 REVIEW + 2019 GOALS

Well hello, friends! It’s been a little while since I’ve posted — I took some time during the first half of this dry January (it’s actually been great!) to reflect on the past year, get re-inspired and really put some thought into what I’d like to achieve in 2019. It’s been a very valuable exercise, so thank you for your patience! Today I’m dishing on everything I’ve discovered in this real, raw, lengthy (we’re talking the longest post I’ve ever written!) read recapping 2018 and sharing my intentions, aspirations and goals for the new year — plus exactly how I plan to achieve them!

When I look back on my goals post from last year, I feel grateful to be in a much better head space and place in my life — although it was a long road to get here. Longtime readers will know I’m always very transparent about the staggering amount of work that goes into blogging, content creation and creative entrepreneurship — and from the day I stared this blog in March of 2015 through to the end of 2017, I hustled hard. As a result, I entered 2018 feeling completely burnout, uninspired and unsure of how to proceed. I knew a change was necessary for me to move forward and progress in a way that would allow for more balance and well being in my life (and therefore more inspired work), but I wasn’t exactly sure how to get there. I felt like I needed to slow down and take life as it came, rather than creating an exhaustive list of all the things I felt I needed to accomplish — and I spent 2018 doing just that. I changed course and made chasing my passions for HOME and FASHION based content my first priority, which resulted in a pretty monumental year here at JustineCelina. That said, the largest shifts I made were off of these pages, in my mental and physical health, relationships and life in general. Fast forward to January of 2019 and I’m feeling energized, more inspired and productive than ever — and ready to make 2019 my best year yet! Flower lovers, welcome back for the first post of 2018! Rebecca Dawn Design and I are kicking 2019 off with a fresh installment of DIGITAL BLOOMS celebrating the softer side of winter with a dreamy, neutral palette of blush, cream and sage juxtaposed with dramatic berry. We’re also dipping our toes into Pantone’s 2019 Colour of the Year, Living Coral — described as an animated and life-affirming coral hue with a golden undertone that energizes and enlivens with a softer edge. Our beautiful Keira Garden Rose’s petals feature a kiss of this year’s hottest hue!

And now, for some blog housekeeping! In an effort to work smarter, streamline my workflows (more on this in an upcoming 2019 goals post) and keep my DIGITAL BLOOMS free, in 2019 I’ll be releasing one tech wallpaper each month here at JustineCelina, rather than the three I’ve offered previously. You can still expect this post on the first of each month, however, I’ll be focusing on creating three designs to represent each season. DIGITAL BLOOMS DECEMBER 2018 | FREE DESKTOP WALLPAPERS

It’s the most wonderful time of the year — and this December, Rebecca Dawn Design and I are here for all your festive, floral Free Tech Wallpapers needs with a very merry edition of DIGITAL BLOOMS! Each holiday season, we look forward to coming up with fresh festive inspiration, taking cues from current colour trends and the wintery seasonal blooms available to us. In year past we’ve gone moody and luxe and cool and crisp — but believe it or not, we’ve never actually gone classic and worked with red hues. So this year, we went semi-traditional with a palette of vibrant red, snowy white, sage green and deep berry, inspired by the familiar holiday hues present in Pantone’s Fall / Winter 2018 Colour Trend Report. Flower friends, I’m elated to share a fresh installment in our ALL ABOUT series with you — and this time, it’s All About Ranunculus! Friends, I’m so excited to share August’s Free Tech Wallpapers with you today! Since the inception of DIGITAL BLOOMS nearly 2 and a half years ago, we’ve always incorporated your feedback into our design process — whether it be highly requested flowers, coloured backgrounds or more minimalistic designs, you asked and we delivered! One request that we’ve consistently received this year is to create more masculine or gender neutral designs — and because of the nature of flowers being inherently feminine, it we knew this one would be challenging. So, we have a bit of a curveball for you today! Flower children, I’m back tonight with a fresh post in our FLOWER EDUCATION series! It’s been a little while since I’ve published a dedicated flower education post — and I thought it was time to switch things up a bit!
