MAY BEAUTY FAVOURITES

Welcome back for another installment of my Monthly Beauty Favourites posts! Today I’m chatting summer beauty and sharing some of my favourite liquid lipsticks, lip liners, a new brow pencil, a gorgeous baked bronzer, a stunning ombre blush, and my all-time favourite eyeshadow to complete bronze and gold looks.

I placed a Colourpop order in May to test out some of their newer launches, so most of my favourites today are from Colourpop — one of my favourite affordable makeup brands. I also tried some products from the Lise Watier limited edition Summer 2016 Escale Collection and found a great bronzer for the summer! WHAT TO WEAR TO | SPRING WEDDINGS

Wedding season has arrived! Every year, what to wear to spring weddings is something I’m asked about frequently — so today’s post is another installment in my WHAT TO WEAR TO series. It’s such a popular request, I wrote a post about it last year before I was able photograph my style content! Today I’m chatting about what I’m wearing to spring 2016 weddings when the weather is still a bit unpredictable (FYI, it snowed in Calgary last weekend and it was sprinkling when we photographed this post!). I may be a bit biased because of my love for flowers, but that I think floral print is perfect for spring weddings. It’s colourful and fresh, and there are so many interpretations of it each spring. From soft subdued, to bold and colourful like I’m wearing here, you’re sure to find a print that compliments your personal style. I’ve included links to my favourite floral print dresses this season for every body type (pssst, the dress I’m wearing is under $40!). I also chat about choosing accessories to compliment a statement dress, along with my special occasion hair and makeup tips.

We love tulips here at JustineCelina. Who doesn’t?! Every Spring, tulips make their debut in gardens and markets across the country to welcome the season. APRIL BEAUTY FAVOURITES

Hey guys! It seems like forever since my last monthly beauty favourites post, doesn’t it? It’s a few days later than usual because I bumped it back to coordinate with my In Search of Yummyness In The Kitchen With interview, so today I’m excited to share my April Beauty Favourites with you! Like last month, I gravitated towards cooler purple tones on the eyes and peaches and corals on the lips. It was an especially busy month and I tend to fall back on my favourite formulas when I don’t have time to search out and test new products!

This month I fell in love with a stunning neon-purple eyeshadow, a gorgeous peach lipstick, an array of peach and coral glosses, an affordable new setting spray, and a new dry shampoo from my favourite brand. SIMPLE PLEASURES

I’ve had an insane week. You probably have too, right? I’ve had tons of photoshoots and lots of personal and professional commitments, which are all wonderful things — but often weeks like this leave me feeling a bit frazzled and burnt out. I know we’re all starved for time these days, so today I thought I’d share a few Simple Pleasures that bring me joy, in hopes that they might bring you joy as well! These are a few of my favourite things and small acts of self care that don’t require a lot of time or money, but make a big difference to my mood and overall well being. Simply put, these are the little things I can do for myself even when I’m busy that make me happy and keep me sane! There’s just something about spring that makes me really want to experiment in the beauty department! After our long, dreary (and extremely colourless) winters here in Calgary I feel so energized and inspired by the fresh beauty of spring. Pink and peach are great standbys, but this post is all about trying something totally outside of your comfort zone.
