Rebecca Dawn Design and I are celebrating DIGITAL BLOOMS 3rd Birthday today with this ultra sweet, feminine design inspired by the shifting seasons and gorgeous springtime blooms! This series started as a fun, collaborative idea between friends to showcase seasonal flowers alongside colour trends in a unique and interesting way — and we never could have predicted its success. PRE SPRING 2019 TREND GUIDE | BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY

With the first official day of spring behind us and temperatures soaring into the teens here in Calgary, I couldn’t be happier to bring you my first Spring 2019 TREND GUIDE! The sun is out, the skies are blue and the snow is starting to melt — which means it’s time begin rotating our seasonal wardrobes, transitioning winter out (byyyyyyyye!) as we ease into spring styles. That said, March weather is extremely unpredictable in Calgary — for example, over the course of the next week, temperatures range between a sunny 14°C degrees and a snowy -1°C! Dressing the part can be a bit of a daunting task when all we want to do is pack away our coats, knits and endless layers to embrace a fresh season!

These in-between months where we have the opportunity to blend the best of 2 seasons are actually some of my favourite to dress for — and that’s exactly how this experimental, bohemian look came to life! PANTONE 2019 COLOUR OF THE YEAR INSPIRATION | LIVING CORAL

Happy love day, friends! This year, I’m putting a PANTONE 2019 Colour of the Year spin on Valentine’s celebrations with a warm, pink-hued introduction to all things Living Coral! By now, you’ve likely heard about 2019’s hottest hue — either here at JustineCelina, or elsewhere online. As a creative professional, I’ve followed PANTONE (the global colour authority for creative industries) for inspiration my entire career. In fact, I even have a section dedicated to them here on the blog to categorize all my PANTONE inspired work throughout the years! As someone who’s very inspired by colour, I love to stay informed about the latest colour trends and allow them to inspire, challenge and push my creative work.

As you can probably imagine, I’m particularly passionate about PANTONE’s selection for 2019! WINTER 2019 LOOKBOOK

Beautiful people, I’m elated to share the first seasonal LOOKBOOK of 2019 here at JustineCelina! If you’re just tuning in and you didn’t catch my 2018 Review + 2019 Goals post last week, you may have missed the announcement that I’ll be producing one, 12 outfit LOOKBOOK seasonally this year to help inspire your sartorial choices — and I couldn’t be more excited about it! Although winter officially arrived about a month ago, we’re now in the heart of the season. Surprisingly, the weather here in Calgary has been very mild and relatively snow-free (most days have been above freezing!) — presenting some unique style options to a girl who’s used to making the most of our long, harsh Canadian winters!

With January sales in full effect and the onset of a new year, now is the perfect time to clean out your closet, identify holes in your wardrobe, get inspired and refine your personal style! As always, this LOOKBOOK features everything I’ve been wearing and loving in both personal and professional settings this season — a melange of high, low, old, new and vintage, along with tons of shoppable links at every price point! Although winter can be an uninspiring time for many in the FASHION department, I use cooler weather as an opportunity to experiment with cozy layers, sumptuous fabrics, unique textures, daring prints and a rich colour palette to create polished looks to take me from day to night. You’ll find cold weather classics intermixed with a sprinkling of this season’s hottest trends, colours and a hopeful nod to spring’s blooming arrival — there’s truly something for everyone. WHAT TO WEAR TO | A GARDEN PARTY

Welcome back for a fresh installment in my WHAT TO WEAR TO series — where I select a seasonal occasion you may not be sure what to wear to and bring you my take on it! Believe it or not, this summer we don’t actually have any weddings (and after attending 7 last year, I’m okay with that!), but we do have quite a few garden parties and outdoor daytime events in the calendar. Although the term ‘Garden Party‘ is more widely used in the UK then it is here in Canada, we’re actually attended our fair share of garden parties (defined simply as an afternoon event held outdoors on a lawn or in a garden) over the past few years — and no one ever seems to know what the dress code is! Naturally, I thought the topic would make a great blog post — and I had just the perfect dress and location in mind to bring it to life!

I hope you’re not getting sick of seeing me in breezy floral dresses this summer, because 3rd Floor Studio‘s stunning Ingrid dress is the star of the show today! In fact, chances are if we’ve hung out IRL lately I’ve probably been wearing this dress — and this bag! While the idea of wearing florals to a garden party isn’t exactly groundbreaking, I think it’s the perfect opportunity to take your favourite LFD’s (little floral dresses!) out for a spin and have some fun styling them up with more casual, daytime accessories. Today I’m demystifying Garden Party attire and sharing versatile styling options to suit every body type, occasion and venue! SPRING 2017 TREND GUIDE | GINGHAM STYLE + MOTHER’S DAY IN THE MOUNTAINS

Welcome back for the first of many Spring / Summer 2017 TREND GUIDES coming to JustineCelina this season! Today we’re kicking things off with a bang — my Spring 2017 Trend Guide | Gingham Style was shot at 2900 feet atop Sulphur Mountain in the Canadian Rockies! Knowing my Mom was the woman behind the lens of my style content, my friends at Brewster Travel Canada reached out earlier this month, offering to treat us to a chocolate tasting and wine pairing at the Sky Bistro for Mother’s Day (how incredibly thoughtful is that?)! I’d been trying to mastermind a way to get my Mom to the mountains for Mother’s Day for quite some time, so when the opportunity to spend a day learning about chocolate from master chocolatier Bernard Callebaut presented itself, she simply couldn’t pass it up. We had the best time — I know many of you enjoyed coming along in my Insta Stories last weekend!

Today I’ll be sharing a few highlights from our day along with key seasonal trends — we’re talking yellow, red (and that Spring 2017 Pantone Fashion Color Report!), gingham, embroidery, flats, novelty denim and more. This post is part Spring 2017 Trend Guide | Gingham Style and part Mother’s Day in the Mountains! I’ve condensed our Mother’s Day experience to the first part of the post, so if you’re just here for the FASHION, you can find that towards the middle. I’m so excited to share the first post in a of a series of AUTUMN 2016 TREND GUIDES here at JustineCelina, where I’m breaking down this seasons biggest trends and showing you how to wear them! I’ve mentioned previously that fall is my favourite time of year for many reasons and fashion in definitely one of them. There’s just something about autumn that makes me want to start anew and refresh my wardrobe to reflect current trends — so today I’m sharing a few of the updates I’ve made and how I like to style my new additions. Today we’re chatting about the new romantic trend and combining 70’s inspired fall florals, waistcoats, rich reds, military greens, statement sleeves, mini bags, velvet, matte lips, chokers, shades of grey, over the knee boots and suede to achieve the look!
