OCTOBER 2019 SOUNDTRACK

How is it the end of October?! Another month has flown by — and that means it’s time for another Monthly Soundtrack here at JustineCelina! October was full of lots of BTS work fall content (including our Entrance Way Reveal!) — and these ultra chill, jazzy tunes are what kept me going. My October 2019 Soundtrack is a short n’ sweet 30 track playlist full of ultra chill, mostly instrumental tunes. I discovered Andrew Applepie’s Six Chill Beats EP along with Spotify’s Jazz Vibes playlist this month and I pretty much listened to them on-repeat — honestly, I could have added every single track! If you’re in the mood for some cozy, feel good tunes that pair perfectly with a smooth glass of red in front of the fireplace (something we did often this month!), you’ll find it here.

October’s most played tracks include JR JR’s NYC, LÉON and SAINT WKND’s You and I, Hibou’s Clarity, absolutely everything from Andrew Applepie’s Six Chill Beats EP, the beautifully stripped down version of Death Cab for Cutie’s When We Drive, Bendigo Fletcher’s No Smoke, Funky Notes’ Visit By Cap Kendricks, Saib’s Sao Paulo Sunset, The Ben Taylor Band’s Time Of The Season, n o r m a l’s beachlove, charlie toØ human’s autumn daze, Andrew Applepie’s Catch It, Ruck P’s Vibin Out, Funky Note’s Never Knew, Casiio and Dontcry’s Places To Go and mt. fugitive’s sundown. Happy listening!

SEPTEMBER 2019 SOUNDTRACK

I’m saying farewell to September with a fresh Monthly Soundtrack! As usual, this past month I listened to pretty much everything (but country, that is!) and added my most-played tracks into my September 2019 Soundtrack. This month I’ve curated 37 songs for your listening pleasure spanning genres — there’s a healthy dose of upbeat instrumental tunes great for working, thinking and creating, complimented by standout alternative, electronic, deep house, chill-wave, synth-pop, hip-hop — and pretty much every genre in between! If you’re looking for some feel-good tunes to help fuel a productive autumn (can you believe there’s only 3 months left in this decade?!) this playlist is for you!

Some of my favourite September tracks include Vacationer’s Autofocus, Yuno’s Sunlight, an upbeat remix of Beggin for Thread, M83’s Midnight Souls Still Remain, Andrey Azizov and Panama’s More Than Friends, ROLE MODEL’s Minimal, Strath’s Cool, Superheart’s Opening Credits, DIIV’s Skin Game, Koresma’s Warm Winter, prettyboyshav’s 4runner, Caroline Polechek’s Door, slenderbodies belong, BETWEEN FRIEND’s affection, Jack Larsen’s I Became My Brother, Freedom Fly’s Me and Bonnie, To Life’s Sunrise Terracotta, Mammals Calm Down, Aalta and Lenachka’s Closer Than Ever and Johan Lenox’s everybody’s cool but me. I hope your ears enjoy!

APRIL 2019 SOUNDTRACK

Despite best laid plans, April always seems to be our busiest month. Although I’m committed to my goal of 5+ blog posts monthly in 2019 (read more about my goals and what I’ve been working on BTS), things have been quiet here at JustineCelina since mid-month — and for good reason! Between tax season (I went to art school, but thankfully Adam is an accountant!), tail ends of client projects, Easter and a lot of planning for upcoming partnerships, the past 2 weeks have been incredibly busy. I had a few posts scheduled, but it was a much more productive use of time to prioritize the business side of things while staying on top of my health and wellness (I’ve also still managed 3+ workout per week!). There were a lot of late nights and early mornings this month with ultra chill, relaxing, ambient tunes streaming through my speakers — and I’ve channeled them all into my April 2019 Soundtrack!

Without a doubt, this is definitely the chillest playlist I’ve ever published. I’m constantly listening to music while I work away — reading, writing, editing, planning, designing, photographing, conceptualizing (and list goes on!). This is why I gravitate towards music that encourages creative thought with minimal lyrics — and I discovered tons of new Spotify playlists to help keep my mind calm and focused. I’ve pulled my favourite tracks into this mellow, feel-good, 55 track playlist — if you’ve got a massive to-do list to tackle and are looking for some inspiring tunes to decorate your time, this soundtrack is for you!
