I’m so excited to share the first post in a of a series of AUTUMN 2016 TREND GUIDES here at JustineCelina, where I’m breaking down this seasons biggest trends and showing you how to wear them! I’ve mentioned previously that fall is my favourite time of year for many reasons and fashion in definitely one of them. SEPTEMBER BEAUTY FAVOURITES

My love for the season has definitely translated into my September Beauty Favourites! Last month my favourite products were rich and earthtoned across the board. I’m sure I’m not the only one who can’t wait for fall to roll around so I can incorporate some deeper, richer hues into my beauty routine — give me all the autumnal reds, berries, browns and golds, please!

I discovered some luxurious, comfortable lipsticks in on-trend shades for fall 2016, a stunning duochrome eyeshadow that’s one of the most unique shades I’ve ever worn, used some of my favourite lip liners all over my lips as matte lipsticks, rekindled my love for Becca’s Shimmering Skin Perfectors and totally used up my favourite Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder. PRE FALL TRANSITIONAL STYLE

I, along with almost every other woman on the planet, will tell you that fall is my favourite time of year, especially for fashion. But September specifically is my favourite month — well, for almost everything (except Pumpkin Spice Lattes… I may be the only woman on the planet who’s not a fan of those!). It’s nice enough outside that we don’t have to be totally bundled up, but cooler temperatures call for more autumnal, layered style. It’s the perfect opportunity to maximize wear time on your favourite summer pieces, but also to begin playing with autumn fashion. So, today’s post a fall-inspired outfit with wear now appeal — a summer-meets-autumn mashup that we only get to wear for a brief window of time here in Calgary! The leaves are turning, the air is crisp and fall is just around the corner — who’s ready to learn about autumn flowers? JUNE BEAUTY FAVOURITES

What better way to welcome a new month than with some new beauty goodies? My June 2016 Beauty Favourites is a comprehensive review of what I’ve been loving in the beauty department lately — so grab a snack or cup of tea and get comfy! This month I’m chatting about some exciting new brands and products launching at Canadian London Drugs stores, a full coverage, high end foundation, some gorgeous pink lip products, a fantastic drugstore contouring and highlighting kit, a flexible hold hairspray that gives me tons of volume and a gorgeous, universally flattering foiled eyeshadow from Makeup Geek!

I was splitting my time last month between my home in Calgary and my childhood home in rural Alberta, so I’ve really been able to get a handle on some new products that I packed in my makeup bag to test out. COLOURPOP ULTRA SATIN LIP PHOTOS, REVIEW, SWATCHES

You guys, Colourpop did it again! If you’ve been with me for awhile you’ll know how much I love Colourpop Cosmetics — an innovative, affordable, cruelty-free makeup brand hailing from L.A. Last spring when their first line of liquid lipsticks launched, I loved them so much that I did a dedicated review post. And while I do still love the original Ultra Matte Lips, the liquid lipstick world has blown up over the last year — formulas have been perfected, colour ranges have expanded, and brands are really listening to what consumers are looking for. So, when I heard Colourpop launched an Ultra Satin Lip formula that was supposed to by less drying, you know I had to try it out!
