Who else is sick of winter?! I know I’ve definitely been craving some colour in my life lately! So this week, I’ve teamed up with Litehouse Foods and The Food Bloggers of Canada to bring you a fresh, colourful entrée salad recipe that can be on your table is less than half an hour! My Pomegranate Hibiscus Salmon Salad combines mixed greens and peppery arugula with strawberries, yellow peppers, mandarin oranges, dried cranberries, almonds and red onions — topped with a fresh fillet of wild sockeye salmon. It’s created with Litehouses’s Pomegranate Hibiscus Dressing, from their new Green Garden line. I also give you a behind-the-scenes look into my creative process of shooting and styling imagery for photoshoots and blog posts!

If you read any of my beauty posts, read this one! Today I’m rounding up all my 2015 beauty favourites in one post. If you’ve been with me for awhile, you know I absolutely love makeup, playing with beauty products, and experimenting with different looks. Over the years I’ve tried pretty much everything — and I’m definitely very particular when it comes to what I use and like. I’m totally obsessed with winter pastels! I’ve been going lighter, brighter and fresher in my wardrobe and personal style this winter — did you notice JustineCelina‘s mini makeover? My love for all things pastel was solidified by the Pantone 2016 Colour of the Year Announcement (check out my inspiration post for some colour trend eye candy), so today I’m sharing a pastel-themed fashion post with you! WINTER BREAKFAST BOWL WITH PUMPKIN SPICE STEEL CUT OATS

Whenever it’s cold outside, I love to make steel cut oats for breakfast. They’re a little more time consuming to prepare, but the texture and taste are unmatched! My Winter Breakfast Bowl with Pumpkin Spice Steel Cut Oats combines warming spices with my favourite seasonal superfoods. Homemade Pumpkin Puree subtly flavours the steel cut oats, while a splash of coconut cream adds richness and decadence. This breakfast bowl is a harmonious medley of textures, colours, flavours and aromas — it’s a true delight to the senses! BEST IN BEAUTY | DECEMBER 2015

December was a blur! Between preparing for holidays and then holidays themselves, December always seems to fly by so fast. Last month I traveled all over Alberta visiting family and friends, and definitely noticed myself reaching for the same products consistently. It was pretty simple for me to choose my December beauty favourites — I just had to look inside my travel makeup bag!

Last month I discovered a genius product that lightens foundation to suit winter skintones, my to-go holiday lip, a blush that gives you that ‘just in from the cold’ look, some really unique eyeshadows and long-wearing, affordable eyeliners! Curl up, get cozy and let’s chat about winter beauty!

NEW YEAR, NEW GOALS: PLANNING FOR A SUCCESSFUL 2016

You may have noticed a few aesthetic changes here at JustineCelina to kick off 2016, but that’s just the beginning! I’m taking 2016 as an opportunity for a fresh start, which includes a fresh look, fresh ideas, and new goals for a New Year. I know some people aren’t keen on the idea of New Years resolutions, but now is as good a time as any to set new goals and intentions for yourself. I think it’s important to check in with yourself often — the last time I checked in was during my Sober September (yep, I gave up alcohol for a whole month, and you can read about what else I accomplished, too). Checking in and reevaluating is something I like to do often — so today I’m sharing 5 goals, resolutions and plans for a successful 2016!
