I took inspiration from one of my favourite blackberry sage teas to come up with this sweet and savoury Blackberry Sage Smoothie recipe! It's bursting with luscious berry flavours, complimented by an earthy hint of sage. A splash of lemon makes this smoothie bright and refreshing, plus it's loaded with antioxidants and anti-aging ingredients. Ingredients
1cupfrozen wild blueberries
1pintblackberries
3/4cupof coconut water
Juice from 1/4 a lemon
4large sage leaves(chopped -- adjust to your preference)
1scoop vanilla protein powder
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in your Vitamix (or similar) and blend until smooth.
Serve in a mason jar, and garnish with a sprig of sage leaves and a few blackberries.
